What to expect
Long stages across mountain tracks and dry riverbeds, with navigation carried on a digital roadbook. Distances are long enough that rhythm and consistency matter more than outright speed.
Who is this for?
Riders with off-road experience who are comfortable navigating for a full day without support.
Navigation format
Navigation is carried on digital roadbook. Confirm the exact format and any mandatory equipment with the organiser.
What to practise beforehand
- Reading tulips ahead of the bike
- Partial distance management
- CAP confirmation at each decision point
- Mismatch recognition
- Deliberate recovery after a missed waypoint
- Maintaining navigation rhythm under fatigue
